What we can do for the future of our community
Do you know where electricity, which is necessary for daily life, is coming from?
Natural energy such as solar power, hydroelectric power, generation, and wind power accounts for 23% of the total. Others are 73% including nuclear power plants. More than half of Japanese electricity burns fuel such as oil and coal to generate electricity, so it is thought that the burned electricity contributes to the increase in CO2.
The policies have been already developed, such as electric vehicles, but we believe there must be more things we can do as well. If everyone can reduce the amount of electricity used little by little and reduce the amount of electricity generated, it is possible to reduce CO2.

Reasons to promote LEDs
Momiji Electric wants to be a company that can contribute to a society, and we are promoting the replacement work of LED lighting. For example, if even one old light bulb, 60 wattages, is equivalent to 60 wattages of LED, it will be about 6 to 8 wattages. The power consumption is reduced by nearly half if the round fluorescent light of 32 or 40 wattages is replaced to LED. More customers now choose LED, on the other hands fluorescent light are still being used throughout Japan. Why don't you change starting with small things what you can think of as good for the environment?
